Fire Performance Team
A Deeper Look
The Fire Performance Team is an active, professional and eccentric group of flow artists - which as the name implies - commonly work with Fire Dancing Equipment! However, they are looking in expanding into more area of the flow arts, not just fire! But LEDs, dancing, and so much more!
We are always looking to expand, and grow with modern advancements in the fire dancing arena, and we are always open to providing classes and lessons to future flow artists alike. We are all about teaching the youth, and even the old alike - the beauty of flow arts.
Professional Resume
The History - the Lore!
The Fire Performance Team started out as a small group of children in the KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa, with a lady who began learning all about flow arts, fire poi, and so much more after seeing a performance by dancers. They have since then continued to assist and be a role-model for the children on the South Coast who turned to drugs or alcohol because of their personal home lives.
The lady whose name is Aunty Yo - has guided them onto the correct path, taught them that there is beauty in flow arts, and just more and more children began joining Aunty Yo on the beaches of the South Coast, which in turn opened up an orphanage, to a school, and now to an academy of both formal education and flow arts - fire dancing.
