Common Inquiries

How do students interact?

Point Education Academy students are all unique and have a hard zeal to be driven towards their education. We meet a multitude of students every month and students who attend point are driven towards their education. They interact with each other in a manner that is academically-focused and provides students with an opportunity to create lasting friendships.

What are the Fees at Point?

Point Education Academy works on a month-to-month basis. The monthly installment is R1 300-00 with a R500-00 registration fee per student each grade/phase/stage. The monthly installments are for one study session.

We have a study session from 08:00-13:00 & 13:00-17:00 on Campus.
Our online academy fees are R1 000-00.

Keep in mind that fees vary when it comes to your curriculum choice - we have a wide range of curriculums our partners can offer.

How do we Teach?

Point Education Academy is built upon a board of directors, tutors and educators. We do not do one-on-one sessions, but rather focus on small group learning sessions on our physical sight. Point Education Academy involves all students regardless of their personalized curriculum which they have chosen. Students at Point Academy are encouraged and informed that they will partake in Group study sessions. We are a study centre - a workshop group for homeschooling students who are each on their own curriculum, they join Point Academy as a student who requires interaction, extra assistance with concepts or lessons on their curriculum, and management when it comes to their time, scores, and workload.

The Guardians Involvement?

We involve all of our students guardians, parents, and families at our academy. We encourage open-learning and provide necessary progress reports and information on your student - whether they be a part of the national South African CAPS Curriculum, the American Grade 12 Equivalent - The GED or even the British Syllabus Cambridge Education. All of our extra curricula providers courses go in-depth about student progress! So this means that you receive an overview of your students progress on their extra courses which you have enrolled them in as well. Guardians simply need to request a progress report of their learner and we will give them the most up to date report possible of their current progress & learning habits.

Accreditation & Certification?

Point Education Academy is a study centre that focuses on bringing students on their own individual curricula together and assisting students find the right curriculum for their future endeavors. Point Education Academy strictly works as an affiliate centre for our curriculum providers. Which means that all of the curriculum providers we offer as an affiliation & study centre are registered, certified and accredited. While students may already join Point Academy with their own curriculums - you simply inform us of what curricula they are on and their provider and we get in contact with them and do our own research to ensure their authenticity and accreditation. Accreditation & Certification vary depending on which curriculum you have chosen.
